I actually don't understand "Youth Culture" - maybe because I never outgrew it? When I was a Youth I loved revisionist Westerns like Little Big Man (Dustin Hofman), classic Warner Bros. flicks like "I'm a Fugitive From a Chain Gang" (Paul Muni: "I steal" classic last line) and Al Pacino in The Godfather or Jack Nicholson in Cuckoo's Nest...
Come to think of it, besides American Graffiti and Animal House, I don't remember too many "youth culture" movies from my youth....
