It seems like much of the time you're in a non-racist environment, until some white guy (who waits for the blacks to be "out of the room") rolls his eyes, does a shrug, makes a comment, whatever, and then you're stuck with how to react to this decent person who somehow thinks there's a white-guy camaraderie to be taken for granted....

Makes me think of that great SNL piece with Eddie Murphy where he dressed up as a "white" and encountered this typathing with "real" whites....
