I frequently hold the door for people - usually for ladies, the elderly, and folks with little kids or full hands. The only thing that irks me is when people walk right by without so much as a thanks, nod of the head or any other form of acknowledgement. Typically, these are the same people who take their sweet ass time crossing when you brake for them in parking lots or at crosswalks (I'm talking when you don't have to, but are just being a courteous driver).
I have noticed this passive aggressive shit is far more common among one group of people than others.
