Blaming the biller for poor conversion ratios is weak, wrong, and does a disservice to everyone to yourself and anyone who depends on you to make money.

Segpay and CCBill have never been late once in all the time we have been using them (Segpay : 3 Years. CCBill: 8 years).

This is a US Visa registration fee, not a billing processing fee, and it is for US merchants only. It is also dirt cheap and is a small fee to pay when you consider all of the other costs of doing business. Plus some billers such as CCBill will let you pay for it monthly if you ask nicely have have a good reputation.

Chargebacks are the responsibility of the merchant, not the processor. Read the Terms of Service for any processor and you will see this.

If your customers complain about this, maybe you are not presenting it properly. Maybe what you can do is add a note about this on your website and indicate this is a SERVICE to your end user to help protect them as card holders against unauthorized use of their credit cards.

Increasing traffic does not necessarily convert into increased sales.

Not true. If you have low sales, high chargebacks etc, you definately have to change something to remain in business. My point is to stop blaming your billing business partners. Work with them and listen to their advice instead of trying to trash them.
