Really do have military contacts?
I have no clue where to start, but a friend, Jerry, from school supposedly died in Viet Nam but isn't listed on The Wall. Another friend, whose now dead, told me Jerry died his very first day in Nam. My only guess that if he actually died that first day in Nam, his papers might have listed him as "in transit." The military might not have given him credit as being a Viet Nam death, as any more dead troops to the list was making the military's image worse.
I don't know that's what happened to him. Just know he didn't graduate from high school. But a lot of guys, for what ever reason dropped out and joined up.
I barely knew Jerry, but if he really bought it the 1st day, he deserves his space on The Wall.
