Not sure how he qualifies as liberal. Or how that word really means anything these days since it's been thrown at every one from Genghis Kahn to Hitler. Maybe if more people spent the extra time to find things they can agree with other people on and less on reasons to argue it would be a lot nicer planet. Kid probably didn't mean any harm, he's just trying to fit in and be comfortable where he lives. He didn't choose his parents or his upbringing and if he's moving to some recently gentrified area I would doubt it's with their blessing, so I'd say cut him a break.
