I just picked up a
Canon SX-150is about a month ago .... I am pretty comfortable with DSLRs, so I can be quite demanding on a point and shoot camera, but I must admit that I am VERY impressed with this kit, and yes I would definitely recommend it.
The stills are breath-taking, and the HD video is very crisp. The zoom works inside of video mode too, which is very nice!!
