I realize many websites, including lots of mainstream, skirt good security practices and trust 3rd-party servers for ads, scripts, etc ... however, imho, ultimately, it's the service's responsibility to ensure that such 3rd party data is sanitized and safe for visitors.

Google, McAfee, etc, while error-prone, likely have 4Tube correctly pegged as an intermediary distributor of malware, etc. Dumping shady ad networks and sanitizing links often resolve such issues ... though seemingly that's not what some sites really want; assisting in the serving of malware via 3rd parties is potentially profitable for some ... maybe 4Tube falls into that group?
