Bought a security camera that is supposed to support POE, but when using it with a TP-Link POE switch I am not getting any power.
Using this model switch:

I spoke to the person selling the camera and he said I need a POE switch capable of transmitting both data and power over lines 1, 2, 3, 6 in the ethernet cable. (I am using cat 6)
He says my current switch has the power and data on separate lines of the cable, and their camera requires the power and data to be on the same 4 lines mentioned above.
Anyone hear of this? Does that sound normal?
This is a cheap, $200 chinese camera off ebay, so it is possible they are not meeting the proper POE spec standard.
If that is normal, can anyone recommened a POE switch or injector that will transmit the power and data on pins 1, 2, 3, 6?
