Let's simplify everything here and just say that all people are racist.
Now, lets look at the what really matters.
What matters is how people act out because of racism.
Who is forming policies based on it, who is making laws based on it, who is committing
violence based on it, who delivers injustice based on it, who choses their friends
and employees based on it, who evaluates the worth of another person based on it?
That is where the harm is and the harm is serious and long lasting.
So it's not really so important about who is racist, but who is acting out.
"Archie Bunker" was in fact a racist character; but where in his life did he ever do
any harm to anyone? It isn't there!
So to simplify it futher :
Archie Bunker is coming over to my place for dinner but George Wallace is not invited.
