So if you are using any type of recurring monthly service wih BOA and change debit cards and get a new card and new number the merchant can request your new debit card info and start billing you again at any time which i think is complete b.s  |
I think most banks have a similiar policy, it's always best to cancel any subscriptions 1st when losing a card, now you can just dispute the charges on the card to the bank. Tell them you did not authorize those 2 companies to charge you card.
The banks think they are doing you a favor since you might need the reoccurring service each month, for example I have some websites that I pay for monthly, if I don't pay they go offline.
