That's one thing people need to be aware of. These cards are not real debit or credit cards in that they don't seem to have the same protections as normal cards do from a real bank.

In my country (the US) these kind of cards are for poorer people or those who cannot get bank accounts for some reason. They typically have 3-10 times the fees of cards from regular banks. For instance here it's practically unheard of to be charged a fee make a chargeback (it may even be illegal). The same for charging for POS declined transactions. If a real bank did that to me then I would switch banks the next day. But I guess Paxum fulfills a niche for some.
