Good for her.
Record numbers of people are renouncing their US citizenship and leaving. Those who have eyes and are not blinded by propaganda and ridiculous patriotism can see the ship is sinking and there are better alternatives. It is no coincidence that those with substantial amounts of money are leaving first. They always do. That should be your first hint that something is wrong.

Why is that? As an American I would figure you support freedom. "Land of the free" is America's slogan, is it not? But that is typical American behavior, to only support freedom for Americans, and not those who choose to not be part of the American system.
Did she have a choice where she was born? No, she did not. Why shouldn't she be allowed the choice of where to live and what country to become a citizen of? To not have such a choice would mean she is a slave. Thankfully, she has that choice. So you either support her freedom to choose, or you support her enslavement.
Now she can return on a visa just like all the others who visit the USA and not have to be taxed to death in the process. It's the smart thing to do if you have the means to do it.
