Of course it was written from an affiliate's perspective. It states that in the very first sentence. It's true for the industry to some degree as well. If it weren't true people wouldn't feel a need to post that it wasn't. They would laugh and then shut up and make more money for themselves. They wouldn't give a shit about what others think because they know for themselves.
