That is true. One big gaff either way could swing things. This is why I think Romney will not release his tax returns. I have a feeling there is something in there that would be difficult to explain and could hard him so he would rather deal with the fallout of now showing them. If he does show them and there is something major there it could be a nail in his coffin, but if he gets past this issue and the economy continues to struggle he could have a shot.
