Ok, make guns illegal. Now what?
* No criminals turn theirs in.
* A small percentage of law abiding citizens turn theirs in.
* A very large percentage of law abiding citizens become criminals over night when they don't turn theirs in. Do you go door to door searching? That will end well.
America is a violence based country, movies, video games, history ... full of people on depressants and other intoxicants. And the amount of wack jobs will rise as the economy tanks. As the media makes celebrities of these idiots expect to see more looking for their 15 minutes of fame.
There are more guns in the US than citizens and they are here to stay. Pack you own or learn to duck real quick.
