Most of the present day problems in those cities can be attributed to the post WWII ethnic cleansing that occurred that region. Gotta wonder if the central CZ government hasn't since come to regret those decisions.

But in the USA there are problems.
Problems like carjackings, home invasions and so on. Thus the need for private citizens to have the means to protect themselves.
