I did eventually hear back from their support, but a few days after I was able to handle the issue myself. I removed all traces of the program from my system and started over with a clean install.
On a side note, The answer I received from support was lame. I was advised to turn off automatic updates and wait a few days after a update was released before running it. This way any bugs or issues will have been found and fixed before I have to deal with them.
I guess testing a release before going public is too much of a hassle.
