No offense, but that's a logical fallacy. Whether or not something is true or false does not depend on the amount of people who believe it to be true or false.
There used to be a time that the majority of the experts all agreed that the earth was flat.
Given the fact that we have only one earth, it's impossible to do controlled tests of the man made global warming hypotheses and it is thus by definition impossible to empirically prove (or disprove) them.
Taking into account the complexity of this planet and everything that happens in, on and around it and taking into account our (still) limited knowledge and understanding of the many forces that are at play (most of them a lot older than life itself on this planet), I'd say it would be very imprudent to jump to conclusions. Especially 'conclusions' spread by those who would benefit financially from the so called solutions to the so called problem they claim to have identified.
When I first started going to school, the teacher told us a new ice age was coming. A few years later, another teacher warned us that instead of global cooling we would have global warming and that by the year 2000 cities like New York would be swallowed by the sea.
It's now 2012 and New Yorkers still aren't going to work by rubber boat. And I see they've changed the name of the 'problem' again. This time from 'global warming' to 'climate change'.
