If the Queen is head of state, this must be why the UK is such a miserable nation. I'd rather have Cameron open the games, even Thatcher would have been more exciteable and she isn't much better.

I kind of enjoyed the ceremony but I think the Queen let the nation down (what does that say?)

No sign of leadership or anything.

I said the other day that the royal family is basically a symbol these day and it is, but why use your worst actors in a blockbuster film?

William and Kate should have taken the position or it be given to the PM and his Tea Boy Nick.
