As far as I have read he has only been arrested, he has not yet been charged with anything.
He was arrested on 'suspicion of malicious communications', that covers
any malicious communication.
They will investigate and question him, depending on what they find they could then decide to actually charge him with death threats.
He will probably get off with something less serious if not completely.
