The red building is a re-creation of a late-1800s sawmill that stood originally on the property. It's open to the public...owned/operated by the City of St. Catharines and staffed by some really great volunteers who take part in the restoration.
Above and below the waterfall - the entire property is extremely photogenic from many angles (especially in the fall when the leaves change color).
