No, not at all, my biggest one is only 36 inches tall, his back comes up just under my waist. They can ride kids... My grand daughter has ridden Tori, that dark brown one here, but adults cannot ride them at all. They can be cart trained to pull carts that can carry two adults, but not on their backs.
They make amazing pets though, they are very much like their huge counterparts, just in very small bodies. lol
My smallest one is 28 inches tall, and she'd like to think she is as big as the big horses, but she isn't. lol

Her back comes up about thigh high on me... but she thinks she is 10ft tall. lol
They can still kick the living shit ouot of you and are very powerful for their size
