Woz is taking Kim Dotcom's word for it that Megaupload and its staff were not directly involved in any infringement, and didn't do anything that could be construed as encouraging or inducing infringement.

Many of Dotcom's critics are taking the government's word for it that the investigation uncovered all sorts of evidence to the contrary.

IMO, it's a bit soon to be taking either side at its word with respect to what the evidence does, or does not, prove.

As I see it, neither the DOJ nor Kim Dotcom has a record of truth-telling that is particularly impressive, so I'll wait for both parties to put all their cards on the table (should it ever come to that) before I decide who is more full of shit between the two.
