The Democrats will claim that all we have to do is to "tax the rich", but the truth is that if you take every penny from every person is this country that they have over $250K, (not just income, but everything they own) it would only fund our deficit spending for about 5 months. What are you gonna do then Democrats? You cannot deal with this country's debt problems without serious spending cuts .If you are willing to face the hard facts about the trouble that we are in and what is going to have to be done to prevent America from becoming Greece in just a few short years, then you had better be willing to vote for someone the balls to suggest real reforms! For the record, I am not rich, I am a 50 year old middle class working man who will be affected by the changes to Medicare and Social Security that I know will have to happen.
The problem with the Ryan plan is that it really doesn't cut much from the defense budget. We could cut out defense budge in half and still spend more than the next five countries combined.

While I agree that the nation needs some serious budget cuts, to me any plan that doesn't include a cut in military spending is not a serious, legitimate plan.
