You may well be right about that; time will tell.
My understanding is that it isn't entirely cut and dry whether the mistakes and procedural errors associated with the raid necessarily undercut the whole case against Dotcom. The U.S. DOJ maintains that it has enough evidence that was collected entirely separate from the raid to make its case, and I believe the U.S. is asking the Auckland court to extradite on that basis, irrespective of the legality of the raid, or of the warrants issued in connection with that raid.
All I know is that the U.S. case law and relevant rules of evidence at issue are beyond my comprehension.... and I know even less about NZ legal standards, so I'm going to abstain from making any predictions on this one, either way. ;-)
