Well, in the "real world" of software engineering, where I worked through the mid 1990s... I had to edit every single report and memo my former boss wrote before they were disseminated, because he was not only confused about your/you're, their/they're/their, and to/too, he also habitually confused "algorithm" with "logarithm." (He also hilariously confused "whether" and "weather," which I was always tempted to NOT correct in the final draft.)

This guy was the director of operations at a company that had millions in annual revenue and over 60 employees in its production department. It was all good though, because in reality his actual job was to be the president of the company's brother-in-law.... and he definitely had all the hard-earned qualifications needed to hold that crucial position. ;-)
