3. Because the thumbs are distorted I can not use them to judge the image quality. Because of that I looked for a full size sample of some kind but it wasn't there. I am used to content stores that offer at least one or two full size samples for each set.

FWIW, this is exactly my experience of, and thoughts on, the site.
Seems pretty fundamental for a content site to have thumbs in the correct ratio, and to have at least a couple of full size, full quality images, otherwise how is anyone going to have any idea what they're buying?
