I have 103 thumblogger blogs...they all just have real quick posts with a handwritten sentence each and I don't really bother with banners or anything, I just slap mobile redirection on them and point them to the blogs I have on domains that are my money makers. You can bang out freehosted blogs in no time, just throw one up whenever you have 20 minutes or so to kill. Making a couple bucks daily off of selling mobile doesn't sound like much but it starts to add up and with the money from that you could use it for: buying domains, purchasing traffic to send to your real sites, or just pocketing the cash.
