Not really. Reality is it's hard as fuck to sell paysite memberships as you said...but buying a grand of traffic and putting up porn ads for dating, cams or whatever won't make you shit either. Too saturated and most surfers are already either signed up or cookied in.
I douvt you would make even one sale with porn ads on a free page and a grand worth of brokered traffic (which is useless to begin with).
