You're making weird straw-man arguments, and I'm not quite sure why. You can't "steal" a concept in this industry, because no one bothers to patent anything, and there's precious little "innovation" here that doesn't come from mainstream anyway.
When the majority of folks here talk about "theft," it isn't about ideas, notions, or concepts. It's about content. And content, unlike an idea, IS protected very well in this industry. Producing content costs money, and copyright law is designed to protect that investment. So, when someone uses content without licensing it, that is actual quantifiable theft.
Does that help you understand better?
Your "there's precident for theft" argument is a weird one as well. Was the holocaust okay because people had been killed before? Gee, it was just a bigger version of people being killed, right? To me, that seems to be what you're saying.
As for me PERSONALLY, I'm neutral toward them and toward Fabian. I haven't had any positive or negative experiences with them, and I didn't follow the alleged content theft closely enough to know if it's an empty allegation or legitimate. What he does rarely affects me (except when he's buying programs I have contracts with), so I don't have any reason to love or hate him.
I'm just answering you because you asked what appeared to be a stupid question, and I thought there was a chance you actually didn't know. I didn't realize it was some weird nut-hug or whatever it is.
Anyway, don't shoot the messenger .. or the explainer.
