Arriving via air, and taking a taxi?
Its a 'FIXED FEE'... From the airport to Central Amsterdam...
If you are not aware, and ask how much upon arrival, driver will 'pretend' he 'forgot' to put the meter on...
And offer you a deal of 20 / 30 euros more than the fixed fee.
Once bitten, twice shy !
