It worked. It "is" the bounce rate as I ran the risk of having primarily English speakers hit my sites and was rewarded greatly for it. I also watched my CTR increase, but NOTHING compared to how my CPC doubled.
The end of the first quarter of 2013, I won't have any WP anything anymore. So again, it's just my opinion, WP was the shit, but it's time to move on, well for me it is.

When you say "cut" traffic, do you mean stopped buying or blocked it 403 etc? I would like to cut out some country traffic but never found a good way to do it, massive .htaccess files listing ip ranges of countries worked for a while but became just too hard to manage.
At the same time I'm worried that broad-brush geo blocking will loose some customers, I've had cam whales from Spain for example, and a surprising amount of adsense income from people in the Philippines and Malaysia. Not at all what I'd expect.
