The problem has arisen because of all the bottom feeders trying to scrape a living.

There are maybe 250 million regular porn surfers. So how hard is it to get some of them to your site?

Is selling to some of them harder than getting them?

So in the scale of importance, selling is over traffic. Let's start a list.

What's needed to sell a membership? A site with great content, that appeals.

In adult we have 3 main platforms for sales. Recorded porn, live and dating. Now do the surfers buy more from a site with a better product than a lees attractive product?

Do customers stay buying in the site, because they are there or because the members area product makes them want to stay?

Back to traffic generation.

Why does Pornhub get more traffic than a TGP?

Seems traffic is just a small part of online porn making money.

Tons of content.
Better members area.
Better product.
A site with content, that appeals.
Selling something to the traffic.
Traffic.

Now traffic jockeys will tell you black is white, as they send more content to their site or other peoples. Go figure!!!

OK so you can paste and copy.

You don't get it.
I don't get it.
Same old blah blah
Broken record.
