Never happen. The National Guard would be on the streets so fast it would make everyone's head spin, and they would go door to door confiscating all the guns these people have. Just like they did during hurricane Katrina. And the citizens handed over their weapons like the good little slaves they are.
Most of these people talk a mean game but when the ARMY is knocking on your door, you will either do
exactly what they tell you to do, or in the case of not giving them your firearms, you will be arrested if you're lucky, but you'll probably get killed.
American gun owners love to say, "they can have my gun when they pry it from my cold dead hands." Which is funny because that is exactly what will happen if you don't give it to them when they tell you to give it to them.
