so they've not just removed any advantage of an emd, they've applied a penalty for it? that's just stupid, there's already been loads of algo changes to take into account spam, poor quality/dupe content, backlinks etc. if the sites poor and not relevant they can determine that from bounce rate and time on site etc. just because it?s an emd doesn't make it a shitty site and not relevant usually it?s the reverse.
this penalty was completely unnecessary and i think its just to push more people into using adsense. it would be interesting to see if there's any correlation between these algo changes and an increase in their adsense revenue.
