My first husband was one of the few British men I knew that was cut as a child without religious reasons for it to have happened. It took place for the reason you appear to have had a need, the tight skin. As with any body part, there are going to be medical reasons that things may need to take place. They are real.
That is different than deciding to circumcise by default. So many women in America are flat out scared of a natural penis because they simply don't see many or any.
