Yes, if it wasn't for the need for home defense, I would not have any guns.
The main problems with guns are people. People who don't know how to handle them.
I know the scenario when to pull the trigger and when not to. Many do not.
I wish I did not need a gun. Unfortunately, for a very few scenarios I do.
If it comes to me dying, or some scumbag who want's to kill me, rape my lady, kill my pets, and loot my house at 230 in the morning, sadly it's him leaving my house in a bag, and not me or my family.
At least I've got a shot by meeting a force with and equal one.
