It's likely that a lot of tweets are made, by both sides, to discredit the other side. However, dumb fucks have always said dumb things without thinking. Twitter just increases their potential audience from a couple of drunk friends in a bar to the whole world. If these Tweets were even remotely genuine or credible threats, the authors would be arrested within hours.
