Man...this election is getting people seriously fired up. I've never seen so much yelling and anger on Maher's show before. (and it's been pretty wild in the past).
Judging from the posts on GFY, what I see on the news, and the anger and division on Maher's show...I'd say it's safe to say that no matter if you love or hate Obama's record as President, one thing it has not done is bring our country together.
Lots of people on both the liberal and conservative side of the coin are unhappy and pissed off & think the "other side" is screwing them over.

I don't get where people try to say Obama has divided the country.. Ummm hello do you guys remember fucking Bush? The right wing has separated it's self from the rest of this country via their extremism..
Bush was called "the Divider" for a fucking reason. Hell even he said it best himself. "Either you're with us or your against us". He may of aimed that comment toward the world stage but it was very clear he had the same mentality toward the country at home.
Mitt Romney has already started down that exact same path with his 47% or what ever it was deal. The fucking Right Wing is what has divided this country, they wont do anything at all to work with the left.
They act like fucking cry babies when they can't get everything their way. Obama tried to work with the Right, but the Right refused to work with him. They stone walled him on everything then have the gull to try and say Obama has divided the country.
Seriously get real and open your eyes to where the problem is. It's not the left throwing temper tantrums about signing bills to keep the govt running or not signing bills that cause the credit rating of the entire country to drop.. Then signing it soon as that happens.
Seriously open your eyes if you actually think Obama has divided this country.
the reason people on the left are finally getting pissed off is because many of us actually thought once Bush was gone the country would start getting back on track. Instead the hate from the right became even worse and turned to racist with the Tea Party. I think at this point most people on the left are just sick of dealing with the right because most people with any common sense can see the right is unwilling to do anything for the good of the country as a whole but only what is good for their political party.
