Ill say the opposite... if you can secure 5-10-100 domains at 6$ in advance on future project, well there is something wrong,,, everyday there is less and less good domains available... dont wait when you find one interesting

Even if you loose the 6$, or 12$ or 18$ or 100$ what does that change,,, maybe you will have secure a good domain that will have been took by someone else if you didnt buy,,, maybe you gonna sell of of yours 5-10-100 times the price youve pay... or ya maybe you will loose few bucks,,, thats the way to do business

At worst, parking, hosted tubes, domains list to sales in signature etc...

You need to spend/risk to do some money,,,

PS Dont get me wrong at one point you got to do something with some domains, and earn money to pay them and the rest,,, and youcant buy 500 domains and renew year after year if you loose.. but i dont think its the case here. and i will agree that this is not good too have too much domain if you dont use them, even us, every months we cancel some because our needs, tough, plans changed...
