It's amazing how true this is. I started using wordpress for mainstream, and I'm now getting first page results for my exact keyword domains, but on some pretty major keywords. With few inlinks and no real content, just a few rambling posts I did on the topic.
Finally getting to work making blogs for all my adult sites now, using wordpress multisite.
