Compare Lana to Celine??? haha Celine's audience is soccer moms and grandmas and geriatrics - Lana is a phenomenon with 20 something indies and scenesters... shes a performance artist as much a singer. She has grit and shes dirty and cool and funky, her approach is self deprecating and darkly humorous. Celine Dion? Shes just a lounge act with an over inflated ego and her pipes are no better than your average American Idol contestant - shes a fading joke...Lana is a rising superstar.
