Not really. The law was abused. And Bush did nothing to stop it, and nothing to prevent this.

Why do need less laws? Are the laws we have over bearing? The local police have been to my house twice in eight years, once which was a mistake.
More freedom? More freedom to do what? Do you need papers or permission to drive past city limits? To leave the county? The state? Short of shooting someone I can pretty much do anything I want. I have multiple assault weapons in my house. What more fucking freedoms do you want?

Face reality. The Republican party has failed us with eight years of bush, and then to fix the problem they sent an old man and the governor of Alaska, and then they sent a business man with a 22% failure rate who left office with a 34% approval rating. The Republican party knows it has no hope right now. That's how bad it is.

You pretty much summed it up. These just kind of come across as random thoughts and republican speaking points, though executed somewhat poorly.
