I've had exactly the same experience.

They downright stole my money , did not respond to Emails afterwards.

It was "only" 180$ , and at that time (it was in 2010), they could only accept bank wire transfer. Now, a bank wire transfer from Europe to USA can be costly (possibly more than 50$ in transaction fees).

To make matters worse, they didn't offer to download the content, the only possibility to buy it was to get it physically shipped through DVDs. The explanation they gave for the content not being ready for a download is quote "too large for download".

To ship the content to Europe, could mean another 50-100$ in shipping costs.

I'm only speculating, but I think they realized that too late (I didn't have the Impression that the staff was exceptionally intelligent, to put it in polite terms), and simply kept the money altogether. May be they just wanted to steal money in the first place, certainly possible.

I'm always willing to give people a second chance, so I did contact them again (after all this incident was more than 2 years ago).

I had a chat with them (about 1 month ago) about some document requirements, and the staff I talked to seemed basically not even interested. I wouldn't call them ignorant, but it's pretty close to ignorant.

Whenever I ask the same questions to other Content Dealers, I get a fast, clear response, and sometimes a little bit discussion. Content Sellers are usually very hungry for new customers, and lots of times contact me later on even if I can't buy from them.

It's very weird to talk to staff of a content dealer that doesn't even seem interested.

It is my personal view based on my experience with AFSC, but I do have a feeling like AFSC cares about grabbing the money as fast as possible, and customers asking a lot of questions (like I do), are a liability which they get rid of quickly. From that point of view, it absolutely makes sense to simply bank the money I sent them, there are no big consequences.

I don't now, but potentially they take bigger orders more seriously. If that is the case, then may be simply state you're only willing to take orders 1000$ and above. On the other hand, how could anybody place a big order with an unknown content dealer, if the small order doesn't even go through? I certainly would not do that, with so many scams and unreliable content dealers.

Either way, to steal my money just because a) you didn't have any other payment options available and b) you didn't offer a download option, and on top of that failed to realize that shipping DVD's to Europe is going to cost something, is completely unfair.

I'm surprised to hear that Adult Film Star Content is apparently also stealing from other Buyers. I was always under the impression that my incident was a one time "accident" , swept under the rug.

I clearly recommend to stay away from Adultfilmstarcontent.com

Especially when there are so many alternative content sellers, who conduct business in a straightforward way (no matter how big or small the order is).

Lest anyone think this is a smear campaign.

I will post the entire Email-Dialogue, if it is necessary (it was with a guy named Ryan Stevens).

If this is all just because of incapable employees, or "misunderstandings" then I think it is a horrible business policy to have customers pay for your own mistakes.
