my hair was that same strawberry blonde color on the road to platinum blonde. i would recommend doing the change slowly if you're going platinum so you can heavily condition between bleaching. you will have less breakage that way. by the time i got to platinum i realized i couldn't rock it like you can and did a color back to dark. by doing it slowly i kept my own hair and it was very long, no extensions needed like most other dye blondes. they make a hair mayonaise that works wonders. good luck and have fun! it looks very sexy
