There definitely are benefits to .XXX in terms of branding. For example, I can own Benefits.xxx for a fraction of the cost of Benefits.com. It's also shorter than FriendsWithBenefits.com. Furthermore, Benefits.xxx is clearly differentiated as an adult-themed site from Benefits.com (which would probably deal with pensions and retirement plans). I'm fully prepared to acknowledge pro's and con's to the ICM Registry launch. But there ARE pro's -- not just con's. Which outweigh which is open to debate.
