Kinnect and Playstation move were released to extend the life cycles of both the PS3 and Xbox 360. Adding another 4-5 years.

Move and Kinnect have been about 1 or 2 years so far? So my guess is there is still atleast 2-3 years left on the current systems.

There wasn't anything at E3 this year other than the Wii U so you're definately safe for 12 months I would say.
