What happened on 9-11 was a bunch of guys with box cutters went into the pilots cabin. They had taken basic flight lessons.
Today there are sealed steel doors that cannot be breached on the pilots cabin.
As far as "deterrent", TSA didn't catch the shoe bomber or the underwear bomber. They've NEVER caught anybody...except for drugs.

Flying on a plane is supposed to be a luxury ride with good customer service. You know, the way it was designed to be. It wasn't supposed to be the gestapo searching you before they cram you on overfilled flights. lol
I'm telling you that I don't feel one tiny bit "safer" (though I never felt very unsafe to begin with) with TSA agents feeling up Claudia Marie's tits at security than I would if I could simply walk out on the tarmac and board my plane.
And my point about the numerous hijackings and the handful of planes that were blown up over the decades was simply to point out that the govt. is not looking for bombs by searching us at security.
If they were, they would have tried this shit a long time ago.
They are looking for drugs. Failed war on drugs = YOU are searched like you were a bomber.
Nobody blew any planes up or hijacked any planes for a long time before 9-11.
The hijackings in the past were political statements by "terrorists".
The planes that were blown up in mid-air were blown up by bombs hidden in the luggage. The bomber wasn't even on board in those few cases.
9-11 was a unique circumstance that was immediately rectified by putting the steel doors on the pilots cabin.
The rest of this is just an excuse to search us.

No, being willing to kill yourself (as a suicide bomber) is the deterrent.
There just aren't that many of them in this world (and everyday there are less...lol).
The searches did not deter or stop the shoe bomber or the underwear bomber.
If somebody is actually crazy enough to kill themselves they WILL find a way to get a bomb on that plane. And I guarantee you that the TSA will be too busy staring at Claudia Marie's tits, or fumbling around my dick looking for non-existant drugs, or strip searching somebody's grandma to catch that one crazy fuck that will do it.
