Running and mobile QBs are the future. They've already taken over college football, and it is just a matter of time before this happens in the NFL.
Keep in mind that "running QB" does not mean "black QB" (a common misconception). Steve Young could have played RB in the NFL, and he had mad success in The League (same with Elway and Tarkenton). And look at the most recent draft picks and future pics. Predominantly mobile QBs. E.g., Jake Locker (runs a 4.6 .40), Ryan Tannehill (played WR at A&M), RG3, Christian Ponder, Cam Newton. In the future you have Manziel, Geno Smith (who is actually more of a pocket passer but he can run), EJ Manuel, etc.
The days of Drew Bledsoe type QBs are coming to an end. You'll still have them, but going forward, most QBs drafted high will be athletic and from the spread offense.
